Active Acne & Acne Scar Treatment

The Regenlite works differently than any other laser! It is the first method that allows us to apply active acne scar treatment effectively without pain, risk, or downtime…

Without getting too technical, the Regenlite remodels the skin, from the inside out. With acne scarring, the skin structures are damaged, which is why scars appear depressed into the skin. The Regenlite activates your body’s own natural processes to repair that damage by natural production of collagen fibers. It remodel the “sunken in” areas so that the areas are flatter and smoother

… and, whereas the Profractional tends to flare any existing acne, the Regenlite treats any remaining acne, at the same time Got wrinkles? It’ll treat those, too! Redness to your skin? It’ll treat it! About the only thing it doesn’t seem to treat are sun spots (but, don’t worry, we have other options for those!)

Sublative and Microneedling are other effective approaches for treating Acne Scars from the inside-out.

Active Acne

For acne sufferers the laser light kills and reduces the bacteria causing infection and simultaneously stimulates the natural repair mechanisms of the skin. The light penetrating into the blood vessels stimulates the body’s natural response to produce collagen, enhancing skin rejuvenation and reducing wrinkles or acne scarring.

Comparing Regenlite as the most advanced non-ablative laser with Ablative/semi-ablative laser treatments for Acne Scars:

ablative laser treatments vaporize superficial layers of skin cells at very high temperature. While it’s effective, it is associated with a high incidence of side effects and typically requires a lengthy healing period (weeks),some discomfort and some variability in results. Common non-ablative laser treatments can have a lower incidence of side effects and shorter healing time, but have historically required numerous treatments over many months and has widely variable, and only temporary, results.
