What is cellulite, and how does it form?
Cellulite results from hormonal reasons, such as the buildup of fat, and water retention around those fat cells. Adipocytes get bigger and the ‘envelopes’ containing them change shape, pulling on anchor points on the skin – this creates the orange peel effect. Above all, this process creates a chain reaction as blood circulation slows, and causes stagnation of metabolic waste.
Why are women affected more than men?
Estrogen and a different fat structure play role in cellulite. Women store more fat than men, especially around the thigh and butt area. For example, in men, the bands connecting skin and muscle form a crisscross pattern, keeping the fat in place without dimpling. While, in women, these bands are vertical and as the fat cells are squeezed upwards in small bulges, these bulges translate into the lups and orange peel effect we see.
How is it overcome?
Few people realize that unsightly patches of cellulite are not improved by either physical exercise or even the strictest weight-control diets. To reactivate the adipose tissue and achieve a long-lasting elimination of cellulite, it must be stimulated. LPG’s mechanical Roll stimulation triggers deep biological responses: Tissue that traps the adipocytes (fat cells) are softened and blood and lymphatic circulation is restarted. Results: The fat release process (Lipolysis) is reactivated to naturally eliminate localized fat and imperfections. The septa: Where cellulite originates… The female hypodermis consists of small ‘recesses’ separated by parallel walls (septa). Due to fat and water which accumulate in these recesses, the walls are compressed, damaging the microcirculation and the natural form of the cell. Because these walls are attached to the dermis they pull at the skin surface while our fat cells push towards the dermis. The result is a skin surface that takes on a bumpy, dimpled ‘orange-peel’ appearance. Over time, as the condition worsens, fat and water become wholly enclosed in a prison of hardened septa composed of fibrous connective tissue.
How does Lipomassage work?
LPG MÉCANO-STIMULATION with its ROLL’In, ROLL’Up and ROLL’Out modes exercises the septa, making them softer and less fibrotic; this relaxes the pressure on the skin’s surface, smoothing the dimpled cellulite appearance. As healthy blood and lymphatic circulation is restored to the conditioned tissue, the mechanical ROLL action (ROLL’In) triggers a deep biological response which reactivates fat release.
Use body sculpting Vancouver – LIPO MASSAGE to permanently eliminate stubborn fat that is resistant to physical exercise and dieting. After six thirty-five minute sessions you will see visible results on your figure, losing fat where you wanted to.
What is VellaShape III?
VelaShape III™ Cellulite Reduction Treatments reduces dimpling caused by cellulite, shrinks fat cells and improve skin texture on the thighs, abdomen, and flanks. It is the first Health Canada and FDA cleared non-invasive medical solution for circumferential reduction, cellulite reduction and body contouring. It combines infrared light, bi-polar radio frequency energy and vacuum, which cause deep heating of the fat cells, their surrounding connective tissue and the underlying dermal collagen fibers. This type of efficient heating and vacuum stimulates the growth of new and better collagen and elastin which results in localized reduction in skin laxity, body volume, and an overall improvement in skin structure and texture.
What does it do?
Targets connective tissue and renews collagen
Very effective for cellulite treatment
Very effective for treatment of skin laxity and improvement of skin tone on the body
Also induces circumferential reduction due to significant improvement in the connective tissue
Improves circulation, drainage, adipocyte metabolism via improved circulation and oxygenation and dermal structure
Enables mothers to get their pre-pregnancy body back
What is cellulite?
Cellulite occurs primarily in women but sometimes in men as well. Cellulite is used to describe superficial areas of trapped fat, which cause uneven dimpling or “orange peel” skin. It appears in 80% of post-adolescent women. Common areas where cellulite is found are the thighs, buttocks, and the abdomen. Cellulite is not related to obesity as it occurs in overweight, normal, and thin women. Hypertrophied adipocytes, trapped lymph and poor circulation all contribute to the cellulite phenomenon. This treatment reduces the appearance of cellulite, tightens skin & stimulates the formation of new collagen without surgery or downtime.
What causes cellulite?
- Poor circulation
- Lack of exercise
- Hormonal influences
Which areas can be treated with VelaShape III ™?
Cellulite treatment areas could be on the neck (under chin), arms, thighs, buttocks, flank and abdomen.
What can I expect with VelaShape III™ Treatments?
The treatments are non-invasive, no downtime and comfortable treatment for circumferential and cellulite reduction with many patients saying it feels like a warm deep tissue massage. It is normal to experience a warm sensation for a few hours after your treatment. Some patients report a pinkish appearance at the treatment area that may last a few hours post treatment, and skin may appear pink for several hours.
